Research interest: the new superconductors, magnetic materials and the superconductors used in ITER project. He has been supported by oneNational Natural Science Foundation of China and one project of Research Fund for the Doctoral Program of Higher Education of China; He published more than 40 SCI articles, applied for 9 national invention patents of which 7 items has been authorized. He found a newSmFe1-xIrxAsO superconductor and this research has been published on JACS as a rapid communication. After the publication,《Asia Materials》and《Chemical and Engineering News》reported this research.
